We collect information you give us directly:

• Account details — your name, email address, phone number, and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
• Delivery addresses you save to your account or enter at checkout.
• Order history — products purchased, order value, payment method, and delivery status.
• Product reviews and ratings you choose to submit.
• Wishlist items you save.
• Anything you send us through the contact form — your name, email, phone, and message.

• To create and verify your account (including sending the OTP email during registration).
• To process, fulfil, and deliver your orders, and keep you updated on their status.
• To handle return and replacement requests.
• To respond to messages sent through the contact form.
• To keep your cart and wishlist in sync with your account.

We don't use your personal information for anything beyond running the store and communicating with you about your orders and enquiries.

Payments are processed entirely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card number, UPI ID, or net banking credentials on our own servers — we only receive a payment reference and status (success, failed, refunded) to confirm your order. Razorpay's own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment details.

We use cookies for functional purposes only — to keep you signed in and to remember what's in your cart between visits. We don't currently use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes in the future, we'll update this policy and the cookie notice shown on the site.

We share the minimum necessary information with:

• Razorpay, to process your payment.
• Our email service provider, to send account verification codes, order updates, and replies to your enquiries.
• Courier partners, limited to your name, phone number, and delivery address, so your order can reach you.

We don't sell or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

We keep your account and order information for as long as your account is active, and for as long afterward as needed to meet our tax, accounting, and legal record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data at any time — see Your Rights below.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to elitewoodworks2026@gmail.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time. Some information, like completed order records, may need to be retained for a period even after a deletion request, where required by law.

This site isn't intended for use by children without the involvement of a parent or guardian. We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

We use reasonable technical safeguards — including password hashing and access-controlled systems — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously.

We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision — please check back occasionally.
